Muslim prof offers namaz; BJP wing demands legal action for ‘disrupting peaceful atmosphere’

The BJP youth wing’s district unit Vice President Amit Goswami alleged that the professor was trying to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the college by offering namaz in the college campus while wearing religious outfit (kurta and topi).

Agra: A video of a Muslim professor of Shri Varshney College, Aligarh, offering namaz inside the college campus surfaced on social media on Friday. Following which BJP youth wing workers have demanded legal action against the professor.

They have threatened to recite hanuman chalisa in the campus if a case is not registered against the professor. Times of India reported.

Ridiculously the BJP youth wing’s district unit Vice President Amit Goswami alleged that the professor was trying to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the college by offering namaz in the college campus while wearing religious outfit (kurta and topi).

He rued that no action was taken against the professor by the administration even after the students had filed a complaint to the principal.

While disclosing that they filed police complaint after receiving the video, Goswami added that they have given 48 hours ultimatum to the police for registering an FIR.
