On Friday, a recently born leopard cub was discovered in the outskirts of Shivangalapalli, Konaraopet mandal, near a forest. Farmers in the area spotted the cub in their agricultural fields and promptly notified forest department officials.
Upon receiving the information, forest officials promptly arrived at the scene to assess the situation. They concluded that during the relocation of her cubs, the mother leopard inadvertently left one behind.
The officials conveyed that the mother leopard is likely to return for her cub, and therefore advised the local residents to refrain from visiting the area.
