3-Year-Old Girl Priyanshu Dies After Falling into Water Sump Shankarpally

A tragic incident took place in Janwada village under Shankarpally mandal of Rangareddy district in Chevella, where a three-year-old girl identified as Priyanshu died after accidentally falling into a water sump while playing.

According to local information, the child belonged to the family of Katna Shekhar, who has one son and one daughter. Priyanshu was three years old.

Water Sump Lid Was Left Open During Family Gathering

Family members were reportedly busy washing clothes as it was the third day following the death of one of their relatives.

During that time, the child was allegedly not noticed by the family members.

According to the information available, the lid of the water sump had been left open to draw water from the sump. While playing nearby, the child accidentally went near the sump and fell into it.

Parents Found Child Dead Inside Water Sump

After a long time, the family realized that the child was missing and began searching for her.

When they checked the water sump, they found that Priyanshu had already died.

The incident caused grief among the family members and local residents in Janwada village.

Police Register Case and Begin Investigation

After receiving information about the incident, police officials reached the spot and registered a case.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
