Notification has been issued today for the posts of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) in SC, ST, BC and Minorities Residential Institutions in Telangana.
Complete details regarding the posts and selection of candidates at schools and zonal level have been uploaded on the website www.treirb.telangana.gov.in
As per the notification issued by Telangana Residential Educational Institute Recruitment Board (TREIRB), applications will be accepted from Friday 28th April to 27th May. A total of 4006 TGT posts will be filled out of which 3011 (75.17 percent) vacancies have been reserved for women while remaining 995 (24.83 percent) will be filled by male candidates.
So far, the process of issuing announcements for appointments to a total of 9231 posts has been completed. 10,675 posts have been sanctioned in all residential schools by the government.
White the remaining 1,012 posts are of non-teaching nature. Earlier, the government had decided to appoint teaching staff in residential institutions through TREIRBs and Non-Teaching Staff (Staff Nurse) to be appointed by Medical Recruitment Board.
According to reports, more than forty thousand candidates have done OTR one-time registration since the announcement was issued.
According to the details, appointments will be made on a total of 728 posts in SC schools, of which 179 are reserved for men and 543 for women.
Similarly, in ST schools, out of total 218, males are 17 and females 201; in BC schools, out of total 2379, 653 are males and 1726 females; in minority schools, 146 males and 448 females out of total 594 ; in general section, 87 out of 87 are females.
