RSS man Indresh Kumar lauds Mir Osman Ali Khan

Hyderabad: Indresh Kumar, a senior member of the RSS and patron of Muslim Rashtriya Manch, on Monday lauded the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan, for providing financial assistance to the Indian government in hard times of war with China and Pakistan.

The RSS leader asserted that last Nizam’s contribution ought to be put down in “golden words”. He told this while speaking at the 136th birthday celebrations of Mir Osman Ali Khan, the last Nizam of Hyderabad, held at Women’s College OU. as the chief guest.

During his speech, Kumar pointed out that the Nizam established many institutions in Hyderabad for male and female students. This shows his keenness for women’s education and importance he gave to it, Kumar observed.

The RSS member also praised the beauty of Urdu language saying that many languages are spoken in our nation and all the languages convey the message of peace and love. He conveyed a message of peace to Hyderabadis, urging them to respect each other’s religions and not criticise anyone, and to live in unity. The New Indian Express reported.

Indresh Kumar’s participation in the programme as chief guest came as a surprise to the participants of the programme. However, they appreciated him for his speech on unity. Khaja Qutubuddin, a participant noted that Indresh Kumar was the first RSS man to speak positively about Nizam and Urdu. Convener Muslim Rashtriya Manch South India, MA Sattar disclosed that the Muslim Rashtriya Manch is making efforts to fill the gap between all communities.
