Heatwave conditions prevailed at isolated pockets in Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Hanamkonda, Khammam, Medak, Nalgonda, Nizamabad and Peddapalli districts of the state on Thursday.
Telangana state reported Maximum temperatures of 41 degrees celsius and above at a few places with the highest 42.8 degree celsius recorded at Bhadrachalam yesterday.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning very likely to occur at isolated places in few districts of Telangana from June 18 to 20.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers very likely to occur at isolated places or at few places in the state from June 17 to 20, the report added.
