Six Kilograms of Gold Worth Rs 3.84 Crore Seized in Andhra Pradesh; 10 Arrested
Police said that the gold was being taken to Rajahmundry from Gudur in Nellore district. They travelled in the Seshadri express. Since the checking would be tight at Rajahmundry railway station, they alighted from the Seshadri express in Bhimavaram railway station.
Eluru (Andhra Pradesh): Police seized 6 kg of gold, worth Rs 3.84 crore, while being taken without valid documents and arrested 10 persons at Bhimavaram town railway station on Thursday.
Police said that on the instruction of West Godavari Superintendent of Police U Ravi Prakash and under the supervision of DSP B Srinath, a police team led by G Srinivas held 10 persons at Railway station and seized six kg of gold. The police also seized Rs 49,970 cash from them.

Since they failed to provide relevant documents, the police seized the gold, worth Rs 3,84,00,000 and registered cases under sections 41 and 102, Cr PC against the 10 persons.
