Swinging Axe Riders Suspended Upside-Down for Over Half an Hour; hair-raising video goes viral
A shocking malfunction occurred on The Lumberjack ride at Ontario’s renowned Wonderland theme park, leaving unsuspecting thrill-seekers suspended upside-down in mid-air for over thirty minutes. The ride, located in Vaughn, Ontario, came to a sudden and terrifying halt around 10:30pm on Saturday.
A hair-raising video captured by parkgoer Jiashira Rivera depicted the moment of the malfunction, showing panicked riders dangling dozens of feet above the ground.
Rivera’s viral TikTok post revealed that it took more than half an hour for the distressed riders to finally reach solid ground. In the caption, she wrote, ‘I’m definitely not getting on this ride any time soon!’ Rivera later shared with Yahoo Canada via direct message, ‘It was terrifying, thank God nobody fell off. They kept telling everyone to clear the area. Workers came in with safety harnesses, climbed up to the machine and tried resetting it.’
