Take Money from Opposition, Support BRS – KTR’s Call
Telangana's BRS Working President KT Rama Rao suggested voters to accept funds from opposition parties and rally behind BRS for impactful development.
Hyderabad, Telangana: In a spirited address to a gathering of leaders, Tellam Venkat Rao, who officially joined BRS on Thursday, KT Rama Rao, the Working President of BRS, delivered a bold message. Cautioning the public about the opposition’s tactics during elections, he urged citizens to accept monetary offerings from opposition parties but steadfastly cast their votes in favor of BRS’s agenda.
Telangana’s Remarkable Progress Across Sectors
Rama Rao highlighted Telangana’s astonishing journey from barren lands to thriving agricultural hubs. With approximately one crore acres under cultivation across the state, Telangana’s agricultural sector has flourished. The state’s ‘Jal Jungle Jameen’ approach has led to a commendable 7% increase in forest cover. Unlike Chhattisgarh, where essential farmer-centric provisions like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Beema, and free power are lacking, Telangana’s commitment to rural welfare shines through.
Telangana Government Schemes and Inclusivity
Rama Rao passionately emphasized the widespread reach of BRS government schemes. Every aspect of life, from birth to old age, is touched by these initiatives. Notably, Telangana’s landscape is dotted with Hanuman Temples, underscoring the government’s deep-rooted connection to the community. He critiqued TPCC Chief A Revanth Reddy’s limited three-hour power supply, reaffirming BRS’s commitment to providing comprehensive solutions.
KCR’s Vision and Determination
Discussing Chief Minister KCR’s dedication, Rama Rao pointed to plans for the reconstruction of Bhadradri Ramalayam and the construction of vital check dams on the Godavari River. He stressed that such transformative actions could only be executed by KCR, who possesses unwavering determination.
Addressing the looming elections, Rama Rao underlined the opposition’s ploys and stressed the importance of strategic voting. With confidence, he stated that without BRS’s support, the nation would lack a formidable Prime Minister in the upcoming election. With 90 Assembly seats and 17 Lok Sabha seats as their goal, he rallied supporters to back BRS’s mission for holistic development.
Khammam’s Role in Transformation
Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar chimed in, highlighting Khammam’s evolving role in the state’s development narrative. He acknowledged the progress achieved during the last nine years, with substantial advancements in infrastructure and Podu land distribution. Kumar urged Khammam to contribute significantly to BRS’s cause, envisioning an augmented seat count of over 90.
Kumar also took aim at Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, reminding him of his absence during the Telangana agitation. He emphasized that unity was vital, and disparaging family members of the CM and KTR contradicted the spirit of progress.
As the elections draw near, the words of KT Rama Rao resonate as a powerful reminder. Accepting monetary inducements from opposition parties while steadfastly supporting BRS’s visionary initiatives aligns with the pursuit of a prosperous Telangana. The state’s transformation across various sectors stands as a testament to BRS’s commitment to inclusive growth and a better future for all.
