Telangana Guv greets people on Ugadi

Hyderabad: Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan on Friday greeted people of the state on the occasion of Ugadi, the Telugu New Year Day on Saturday.

In a message , the Governor said, “On this happy and auspicious occasion of Ugadi, I extend my warmest greetings to the people of Telangana and to the Telugu people across the World.

Ugadi is a festival of joy and hope the New Year shall bring with it new cheer and a bright future.

I am confident that “ Sri Subhakritu Nama Samvatsaram” will usher in peace, prosperity, harmony, health and happiness to all people and sections of the society.

‘I appeal to you all to celebrate this festival duly following the appropriate Covid-19 behaviour, Soundararajan added.
