TRS decides to vote for Oppn combined candidate Margaret Alva in Vice Prez election
(TRS) President and CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday decided to support combined Opposition candidate former Union Minister Margaret Alva in the Vice-President election.
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday decided to support the combined Opposition candidate former Union Minister Margaret Alva in the Vice-President election to be held on Saturday. Announcing the party’s chief decision to extend support to the opposition candidate in the Vice President election , TRS Parliamentary Party leader Dr K.Keshava Rao advised the party MPs numbering 16 to vote accordingly. The BJP-led NDA has already announced former West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar as its candidate in the Vice-President election.
