TSCHE offers support to MANUU

Hyderabad: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will extend all possible support and assistance to Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). Prof. R. Limbadri, Chairman, TSCHE gave assurance while addressing at the investiture ceremony of newly elected office bearers of MANUU Teachers’ Association on October 14.

Speaking as the chief guest he said Urdu University is providing best education and training to the students. He opined that under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Syed Ainul Hassan, MANUU will definitely make progress in the implementation of National Education Policy.

Prof. Ainul Hasan, in his presidential address extended all the possible support to MANUUTA to resolve the genuine issues of the Teachers. He emphasized the need to promote sense of responsibility along with accountability among the Teaching Community. Prof. Hasan while congratulating the Office bearers of the association said all stake holders of university are equally important.

Earlier, Prof. Nisar Ahmed I. Mulla, Chairman, Election Committee, presented Brief report and also administered the oath to Dr. Bonthu Kotaiah, Assistant Professor, Department of CS & IT as the President of MANUUTA, Dr. Syed Mahmood Kazmi, Associate Professor, Department of Translation (Vice-President), Mr. Md Fasihuddin, Assistant Professor, CSE, Polytechnic Hyderabad (General Secretary), Mr. Saidalavi. K, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Management (Joint Secretary(Organizing)), Dr. Kahkashan Latif, Assistant Professor, Department of Translation (Joint Secretary (Publicity)), Dr. Syed Mohd Fazal ul Haque, Assistant Professor, CSE, Polytechnic Hyderabad (Treasurer). All members were elected unanimously.

The guests of honour – Prof. Sujatha, President, EFLU Teachers Association and Prof. Gali Vinod Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Law, Osmania & Telangana Universities also addressed the gathering. Prof. S M Rahamatullah, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Siddiqui Mohd. Mahmood, Registrar I/c, MANUU, Prof. P Ramulu, President, University of Hyderabad Teachers Association also spoke and congratulated the Office Bearers. Dr. Bonthu Kotaiah in his speech welcomed the decisions taken by the Vice-Chancellor for the improvement of Academic and Research culture in the University.

Election committee co-opted members – Dr. Viquar Unnisa proposed vote of thanks and Dr. P. Sharat Chandra conducted the proceedings. Dr. S Maqbool Ahmad and Dr. H Aleem Basha, committee members were also present.

Large number of teachers attended the ceremony by maintaining social distancing. Many MANUUTA members also joined the meeting online.
