Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu on July 17, 18

The Minister on Friday visited the developmental works on the MG Road, Secunderabad and later held a review meeting with officials of the Ujjaini Mahankali temple.

Hyderabad: The famous Secunderabad Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu festival will be held on July 17 and 18, informed Minister for Animal Husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav.

The Minister on Friday visited the developmental works on the MG Road, Secunderabad and later held a review meeting with officials of the Ujjaini Mahankali temple.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said as the traditional Bonalu is celebrated as the State festival and the festival is celebrated in different parts of the city on every Sunday of Ashada masam, elaborate arrangements are being made to provide the better facilities for devotees and   the State government is planning to make the ensuing Bonalu festival a grand success.

“Lakhs of people are expected to throng the Mahankali temple this year during the Bonalu festival. Arrangements are being made in this regard,” Talasani Srinivas Yadav said.
