Unite against fascist forces: Khalid Saifullah Rahmani to Muslims

Hyderabad: A significant discussion session took place at Madina Public School in Nampally Public Garden, where prominent Islamic scholar Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, President of the Muslim Personal Law Board, presided over the event. The session focused on the crucial role of Muslims in uniting against the rising threat of fascism.

The session commenced with a recitation of the Holy Quran by Sohail Qadri. Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, in his opening speech, expressed his gratitude to the organizers for inviting him to discuss this important topic. He highlighted the worsening situation faced by society and emphasized the necessity for Muslims to collaborate in combating fascist forces.

Maulana Rahmani urged unity among Muslims, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the teachings of the Quran and Hadith, as well as imparting religious knowledge to children.

Addressing the audience, Maulana Rahmani underscored that India is a democratic nation, where the constitution holds supreme authority, and the government is obligated to govern according to its provisions. The Indian Constitution safeguards the life, property, honor, and dignity of every citizen, while guaranteeing freedom of religion, language, and the right to establish and operate educational institutions. These fundamental rights cannot be infringed upon. Maulana Rahmani opposed the implementation of a uniform civil code, emphasizing the need to preserve the religious autonomy of individuals.

The scholar drew attention to the recurring nature of fascist tactics throughout history, citing the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as an example of successfully countering such forces. He urged the audience to equip their children with religious education, as it would empower them to navigate challenging circumstances.

Maulana Rahmani expressed concern about the increasing crime rate and the vulnerability of children to misconduct and worldly desires. He advised parents to instill religious knowledge in their children, enabling them to confront any difficulties they may encounter.

Furthermore, Maulana Rahmani called upon women to diligently care for their children and actively work towards raising awareness. He highlighted the lack of awareness among children about the current situation, emphasizing the temporary nature of the prevailing conditions. Maulana Rahmani expressed confidence in the defeat of fascist sectarian forces in the near future.

During the session, Mubashir-ul-Zaman stressed the importance of establishing a religious atmosphere within households and following the teachings of Allah and the Prophet. Maulana Ziauddin Nayyar emphasized the need to promote peace based on humanitarian values rather than caste distinctions, urging Muslims to work together and support each other.

Maulana Rahmani concluded the session by addressing participants’ questions and providing insightful responses. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Maria Arifuddin, the director of Madina Public School, and leaders from the MPJ and Jamaat-e-Islami units.

The discussion session served as a platform to raise awareness about the significance of Muslim unity in combating fascism, encouraging religious education, and fostering a peaceful and inclusive society.
