Gudimalkapur Vegetable Market Shift: AIMIM Meets Traders, Asaduddin Owaisi Assures Efforts to Stop Move to Aziz Nagar

Vegetable Commission Agents Welfare Association met AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi at Darussalam to oppose the proposed shift of the Gudimalkapur Vegetable & Flower Market to Aziz Nagar, saying the move could affect around 10,000 families.

Hyderabad: Office-bearers of the Vegetable Commission Agents Welfare Association met AIMIM President Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi at Darussalam on the proposed shifting of the Gudimalkapur Vegetable & Flower Market to Aziz Nagar in Ranga Reddy district. During the meeting, AIMIM Nampally MLA Mohammed Majid Hussain said the proposed relocation would adversely affect the livelihood of around 10,000 families. He said AIMIM would represent the matter before the government and make every possible effort to ensure the proposal is stopped immediately.

Delegation Raises Objections to Proposed Market Relocation

The office-bearers of the Vegetable Commission Agents Welfare Association met Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi at Darussalam to express their concerns over the proposal to shift the Gudimalkapur Vegetable & Flower Market to Aziz Nagar in Ranga Reddy.

The delegation urged AIMIM leaders to intervene in the matter.

Mohammed Majid Hussain Says 10,000 Families Will Be Affected

Speaking on the occasion, AIMIM Nampally MLA Mohammed Majid Hussain said the proposed relocation of the market would have a serious impact on the livelihoods of approximately 10,000 families dependent on the market.

He stated that the livelihoods of thousands of people connected with the market could be affected if the proposal is implemented.

AIMIM to Represent the Issue Before Government

Mohammed Majid Hussain said AIMIM would take up the issue with the government and make every possible effort to ensure that the proposal to shift the market is stopped immediately.

He said the party would represent the concerns of traders and others dependent on the Gudimalkapur Vegetable & Flower Market.
