Watch: Muslims break fast, call Azaan, offer prayer, recite Quran in Buddhist Ashram

The beauty of the cosmopolitan culture was witnessed during the event.

Amidst unsettling incidents of communal clashes and controversies over Azaan and use of loudspeakers, Muslims broke their fast, called Azaan, offered prayer and recited the Holy Quran in a Buddhist Ashram in Bangalore.

The Buddhist brothers invited Muslims in one of their biggest temples in Bangalore. Muslims were served iftar in their Ashram and were asked to call Azaan in the temple. After the Azaan congregational prayer was offered in the temple.

Buddhist monks were keen to know what Muslims practice in their mosques. They wanted to learn about the practices of Islam.

The beauty of the cosmopolitan culture was witnessed during the event. The Quran was also recited on the occasion.

The Buddhist Pandit expressed his happiness over the conduct of a beautiful event in which it was tried to create a peaceful harmonious atmosphere.
