Well-marked low pressure area to concentrate into ‘depression’ in next 24 hours : Met
Meteorological Centre in a special weather bulletin this afternoon said, the well-marked low pressure area is likely to concentrate into a 'depression'.
Hyderabad: The Low Pressure Area over Westcentral & adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal off North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha Coasts now lies as a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the same region and the associated cyclonic circulation extends upto mid-tropospheric levels.
Meteorological Centre in a special weather bulletin this afternoon said, the well-marked low pressure area is likely to concentrate into a ‘depression’ over Northwest & adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off South Odisha North Andhra Pradesh coasts during the next 24 hours.
Warning for Telangana :
Orange Alert : Heavy to very heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Jangaon, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy of Telangana today.
Yellow Alert : Heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Siddipet, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajigiri, Vikarabad of the state on Saturday.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is very likely to occur and gusty winds speed reaching (30-40 Kmph) is very likely to prevail at isolated places in all the districts of Telangana on September 10.
Orange Alert for September 11 :
Heavy to very heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Khammam of Telangana.
Yellow Alert : Heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon,Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy of the state tomorrow.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is very likely to occur and gusty winds speed reaching (30-40 Kmph) is very likely to prevail at isolated places in all the districts of Telangana on Sunday, the bulletin said.
The monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Okha, Akola, Jagdalpur and thence eastsoutheastwards to the centre of Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Westcentral & adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal off north Andhra Pradesh South Odisha coasts.
The trough now runs from east central Arabian Sea off Konkan coast to the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Westcentral & adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal off North Andhra Pradesh South Odisha coasts across Maharashtra, Telangana, south Chhattisgarh & Coastal Andhra Pradesh and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level, the bulletin added.
