Woman EE working in Tribal Welfare Engineering Dept, in ACB net in Hyderabad
A woman, Executive Engineer (EE) K. JagaJyothi, working in the Tribal Welfare Engineering Department as an Executive Engineer here on Monday, was trapped red-handed at her office by the ACB officials when she demanded and accepted the bribe of Rs 84,000 from a licenced contractor to perform an official duty.
Hyderabad: A woman, Executive Engineer (EE) K. JagaJyothi, working in the Tribal Welfare Engineering Department as an Executive Engineer here on Monday, was trapped red-handed at her office by the ACB officials when she demanded and accepted the bribe of Rs 84,000 from a licenced contractor to perform an official duty.
The bribe amount was recovered from the possession of the accused, ACB said in a release here.
The accused officer performed his duty improperly and dishonestly to obtain undue advantage.
The accused EE will be arrested and produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases court in Hyderabad.
