Lata Mangeshkar responding to treatment in Mumbai hospital

Mumbai: Bharat Ratna awardee Lata Mangeshkar, who has been undergoing treatment in a city hospital for Covid-19 infection since last month, is now responding to the treatment, official sources said on Saturday.
The 92-year-old veteran singer has been admitted in intensive care unit ward of the Breach Candy hospital in south Mumbai since last month due to Covid-19.
Though she was put on ventilator today due to critical condition, she is now responding to the treatment, Dr Pratit Samdhani, who is treating Mangeshkar, told mediapersons here.
