Cold Wave Alert in Telangana, Temperatures to Drop by 3–4°C Over Next Two Days

Telangana is set to experience a cold wave as temperatures are expected to drop by 3–4°C in the next two days. IMD advises citizens to take precautions, especially during night and early morning hours.

The Meteorological Department has issued a cold weather alert for several districts of Telangana, warning that minimum temperatures may fall by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius below normal over the next two days.

According to the latest weather bulletin, isolated places across the state are likely to experience a sharp drop in night temperatures, bringing chilly conditions especially during early morning and late-night hours.

Temperature Drops Recorded Across the State

In its daily weather report, the department stated that Adilabad recorded the lowest temperature at 8.2°C, making it the coldest place in Telangana recently.

Weather officials also confirmed that dry weather conditions will prevail across the state for the next seven days, with no rainfall activity expected.

Due to the impact of northerly winds, colder conditions are being felt especially in the northern and border districts of Telangana. The drop in temperature has increased the chill factor, making mornings and nights noticeably colder.
