In a major breakthrough, the Special Crime Team of CCS, DD Hyderabad along with Gandhinagar Police Station apprehended four persons involved in automobile thefts (two-wheeler theft). Acting on credible information on 23-04-2026, the accused were traced at M.M Pahadi, Attapur.

The four apprehended persons are:
- Mohammed Riyaz S/o Mohammed Saleem, Age: 18 Years, Occ: Un-employed, R/o MM Pahadi, Attapur, Hyderabad.
- Syed Ahmed Ali S/o Syed Abbas Ali, Age: 18 yrs, Occ: Helper in Sofa Making Godown, R/o MM Pahadi, Attapur, Hyderabad.
- Mohammed Fardeen S/o Mohammed Feroz, Age: 18 Years, Occ: Cook, R/o MM Pahadi, Hyderabad.
- CCL- Mohd Bin Esa S/o Esa Bin Ali, Age: 17 Years, Occ: AC Technician, R/o Asra Apartments, Chandulal Bahadari, Bahadurpura, Hyderabad.
10 Two-Wheelers Recovered by CCS Special Crime Team
Police recovered a total of (10) two-wheeler vehicles from the accused:
- Honda Dio vehicles – 8
- Hero Glamour vehicle – 1
- Bajaj Pulsar NS-200 vehicle – 1
How Police Tracked the Accused Using Intelligence and Instagram
According to police, the accused were involved in automobile thefts (two-wheeler theft). The Special Crime Team collected intelligence through an informant source and developed complete information about the accused.
Police also monitored their present activities and whereabouts by observing their posts on Instagram social media. After continuous surveillance of their movements and location, the team traced and apprehended the accused on 23.04.2026 in the morning hours at M.M Pahadi, Attapur.

- Gandhi Nagar Police Station
- Kollur Police Station
