Resonance with Buddha: A Unique Buddha Purnima Sunrise Sound Healing Experience at Hussain Sagar

Hyderabad: On the occasion of Buddha Purnima, a unique wellness event titled “Bodhi Resonance – A Buddha Purnima Sunrise Sound Healing Experience” was held early Friday at the iconic Buddha Statue.

The session, curated and led by yoga teacher and sound healing practitioner Sai Santosh Kumar, was organised in collaboration with the Telangana Tourism Department and the Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation.

Conducted during the calm hours of sunrise, the event brought together dignitaries, invited guests and wellness enthusiasts for a meditative and immersive experience. Participants were guided through a sound healing journey using instruments such as singing bowls and gongs, aimed at promoting relaxation, mental clarity and inner balance.

The initiative also sought to position Hyderabad as a growing hub for experiential wellness tourism, integrating spirituality, culture and holistic well-being.

Organisers expressed gratitude to supporting agencies including HMDA and Lumbini Park officials for facilitating the event at the spiritually significant location.

Participants appreciated the tranquil setting and the opportunity to engage in mindfulness practices in the presence of the Buddha statue, making for a reflective and peaceful start to the day.
