Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla formally inaugurated the “Feel the Jail” project and the Jail Museum during a special event held at Chanchalguda Central Jail in Hyderabad.

Prison Department Director General Soumya Mishra, IPS, along with senior officials, attended the inauguration ceremony.

Jail Museum to Showcase Telangana Jail System History

According to officials, the Jail Museum has been established to present the history of the jail system in Telangana.

The museum and the “Feel the Jail” initiative are intended to offer visitors an opportunity to learn about prison life, correctional administration, and the functioning of prisons in the state.
