CM Revanth Reddy Says Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Will Shape Future Development of State

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said the state government is committed to correcting mistakes, resolving long-pending issues, and moving forward with planned development for Telangana. Speaking at the Way2News Telugu conclave themed “How Telangana Will Be in the Next 10 Years,” the Chief Minister discussed Telangana Rising 2047, Musi Rejuvenation, Bharat Future City, welfare schemes, infrastructure development, and long-term governance goals.

Revanth Reddy Participates in Way2News Telugu Conclave
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy participated in a conclave organized by Way2News Telugu under the theme:
“How Telangana Will Be in the Next 10 Years.”
During the event, the Chief Minister answered questions related to:
- Telangana development
- Welfare programmes
- Government policies
- Political issues
- Infrastructure projects
- Future planning
The Chief Minister said the government is committed to achieving development goals even if corrections are needed during implementation.
Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document Explained
Revanth Reddy said the Telangana government prepared the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document after nearly eight months of consultations with:
- Global experts
- Corporate leaders
- Public representatives
- Intellectuals
He stated that representatives from nearly 108 countries were invited to a Global Summit where the vision document was unveiled.
The Chief Minister said the vision document was designed according to Telangana’s geographical conditions with a clear long-term roadmap.
Welfare and Development Must Go Together
The Chief Minister stated that welfare is a continuous process and development requires long-term planning.
He explained the government’s plans for achieving Telangana’s goals by 2047 while continuing current welfare schemes.
Revanth Reddy said:
“If there is clarity in goals, thoughts, and decisions, positive energy comes automatically.”
He also stated that it is impossible to satisfy 100 percent of people and described acceptance from 60 to 75 percent of people as a major success.
Govt Resolving Long-Pending Telangana Issues
The Chief Minister said several long-pending issues are being resolved step-by-step after his government came to power.
He mentioned:
- SC sub-caste categorisation
- BC caste census
- Recognition of “Jaya Jayahe Telangana” as the state song
- Honouring families of Telangana martyrs
He also said the government is working to complete pending irrigation projects including:
- Tummadihatti
- Palamuru-Rangareddy
Musi Rejuvenation and CURE Policy
Revanth Reddy said nearly 40 percent of Telangana’s population, around 1.34 crore people, live within the ORR region known as the Core Urban Region (CURE).
The Chief Minister said the government’s policy is to “cure” problems in the core urban area.
He announced that:
- Polluting industries will be shifted outside the ORR under the HILT policy
- Encroachments on rivers, lakes, ponds, nalas, public parks, and government lands will be removed
- Musi Rejuvenation will be implemented
Revanth Reddy stated:
“We will complete Musi Rejuvenation. Encroachments on nalas will be removed.”
He added that reforms are like a battle and said he is working for future generations.
Bharat Future City to Attract Investments
The Chief Minister also spoke about the prestigious Bharat Future City project.
He said development of:
- Metro connectivity
- National highways
- Port connectivity
- Airport connectivity
- Trunk infrastructure
would attract investments worth lakhs of crores and generate employment opportunities.
Free RTC Travel Reduced School Dropouts
Revanth Reddy said free RTC bus travel for women helped reduce financial burden on families.
He explained that many girls previously dropped out after Class 7 because parents could not afford transport to nearby villages for higher education.
According to the Chief Minister:
- Working women are saving around Rs 10,000 per month
- The government paid Rs 10,000 crore to RTC in the last 28 months
He also referred to a NITI Aayog report stating that government schools recorded zero dropouts during 2024-25.
CM Says Governance Requires Clear Goals
The Chief Minister said governments may change, but people and political parties remain permanent.
He stressed that governments need:
- Clear future vision
- Planned governance
- Long-term policies
Revanth Reddy said:
“If 51 percent support comes in politics, the remaining 49 percent becomes zero. If governance focuses on satisfying 51 percent, it can later reach 60 to 70 percent support.”
