Santoshnagar Traffic Police conducted a ROPE operation near Lucky Hotel and Water Tank Road in Hyderabad, removing illegally parked vehicles and penalising violators.
Hyderabad: Acting on complaints from colony elders about illegal and obstructive parking, Santoshnagar Traffic Police conducted a ROPE operation on the road stretch from Lucky Hotel to Water Tank Road. Police removed vehicles parked on both sides of the road and imposed penalties on violators for causing inconvenience to residents, commuters, and ambulance movement during medical emergencies.

Complaints Received From Colony Elders
According to police, complaints were received from colony elders regarding illegal and obstructive parking of vehicles on both sides of the road from Lucky Hotel to Water Tank Road for several days.
Residents complained that the parked vehicles were creating major inconvenience for:
- Colony residents
- Daily commuters
- Ambulance movement during medical emergencies
ROPE Operation Conducted by Santoshnagar Traffic Police
Following the complaints, a special ROPE operation was conducted under the supervision of:
- ACP Traffic Chandra Kumar
- Mohammad Asif, Inspector, Traffic PS Santoshnagar
The operation was carried out with the help of Sub-Inspectors and traffic staff.
Illegal Vehicles Removed, Penalties Imposed
During the drive, police removed vehicles that were obstructively parked on the roadside.
Traffic police also imposed penalties on violators for illegal parking and obstruction to public movement.
Officials stated that the operation was aimed at improving traffic movement and ensuring smooth passage for emergency vehicles such as ambulances.
Police Continue Enforcement Against Obstructive Parking
Traffic officials said action would continue against illegal and obstructive parking in the area to avoid inconvenience to the public.
The enforcement drive was conducted by Traffic PS Santoshnagar.
