Indiramma Houses Second Phase to Begin Soon, Ponguleti Reviews Preparations

Komaram Bheem Asifabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will launch the second phase of the prestigious Indiramma Houses scheme on June 2, coinciding with Telangana Formation Day, in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district. Telangana Revenue, Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy visited the district and reviewed preparations for the programme and inspected ongoing Indiramma house constructions.

Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy Reviews Arrangements in Asifabad
Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy toured the district on Wednesday ahead of the Chief Minister’s visit.
He was accompanied by:
- Jupally Krishna Rao, Minister for Excise, Prohibition, Tourism, Culture and Archaeology
- Dande Vittal
- K Haritha
- Gaddam Vinod
The minister inspected the locations that will be visited by the Chief Minister and also reviewed the construction of Indiramma Houses in the district.
Indiramma Houses Scheme Receiving Huge Response
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said the welfare of people and development of the state are the main goals of the people’s government.
He stated that the Indiramma Houses scheme launched by the government to provide a dignified life to poor families is receiving an overwhelming response across Telangana.
Tribal Families Getting Houses in Kothari Village
The minister said tribal families in Kothari village are being provided Indiramma Houses to end housing problems faced by Adivasi communities.
He also highlighted several welfare schemes being implemented for women, including:
- Mahalakshmi Scheme
- Gruha Jyothi
- Ration Cards
- Indira Mahila Shakti
- Rajiv Aarogyasri
According to the minister, the government is moving forward by recognising women as the backbone of families.
Every Eligible Poor Family to Get House in Second Phase
Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy clarified that every eligible poor family would be sanctioned a house in the second phase of the Indiramma Houses scheme.
He assured people that there was no need for any concern regarding house allotments.
Accreditation Cards Distributed to Journalists
Later, at the Integrated District Collectorate Building Complex in the district headquarters, accreditation cards for the years 2026-28 were distributed to eligible print and electronic media journalists.
Officials, public representatives, and staff from various departments participated in the programme.
Komaram Bheem Asifabad district will host the launch of the second phase of the Indiramma Houses scheme on June 2 in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy reviewed preparations and assured that every eligible poor family would receive a house under the scheme, while tribal families in Kothari village are already benefiting from Indiramma Houses.
