According to officials, food safety teams from CMC conducted an inspection at Udupi Upahar in Moosapet and found several serious hygiene and food safety violations.
The inspection revealed major sanitation issues in the kitchen and storage areas of the restaurant.

Officials listed multiple violations during the inspection, including:
- Slippery kitchen flooring
- Clogged drains
