Telangana Government Invites Applications for CM’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme 2026

Online applications will be accepted from June 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026 (5:00 PM) through the Telangana ePASS portal. Candidates must also submit original academic transcripts and required documents at the concerned District Minorities Welfare Offices.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Minorities Welfare Department has invited applications under the Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme (Spring Season-2026) for eligible minority students pursuing higher education abroad.

According to the official notification, minority students who have secured admission in Post-Graduate (PG) or Doctoral (PhD) programmes in foreign universities are eligible to apply for financial assistance under the scheme.

Selected candidates will receive scholarship assistance of up to Rs 20 lakh, along with one-way airfare up to Rs 60,000 or the actual ticket cost, whichever is lower.

The scheme covers admissions in universities located in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Germany, South Korea, Japan, France, and New Zealand.

Online applications will be accepted from June 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026 (5:00 PM) through the Telangana ePASS portal. Candidates must also submit original academic transcripts and required documents at the concerned District Minorities Welfare Offices.

The notification is applicable to students who obtained admissions between January 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026.

Officials stated that all certificates and documents will be thoroughly verified, and strict legal action will be initiated if any forged or fabricated documents are found.

The Minorities Welfare Department has advised eligible students to apply within the stipulated deadline and take advantage of the scholarship opportunity to pursue higher education abroad.
