In a remarkable display of alertness and humanitarian service, Rajendranagar Zone DCP Sri S. Srinivas, IPS, along with his night duty escort team, successfully revived and saved the life of a one-year-old infant who had lost consciousness following a major road accident on the Shamshabad-Aramghar route.

The incident occurred on the night of June 18, 2026, during routine Night Duty (NSO) patrolling, when Rajendranagar Zone DCP Sri S. Srinivas, IPS, and his escort team noticed a severe car accident involving a vehicle bearing registration number MH14JR 9028. The car was travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad when it reportedly lost control and crashed heavily into a roadside tree.
Infant Stopped Breathing After Car Crashed Into Tree
Responding immediately, the DCP and his team rushed to the accident site and inspected the wrecked vehicle.
Inside the car, they found a one-year-old baby boy who had stopped breathing and had gone into an unconscious state. The infant’s parents were reportedly in a state of trauma and despair following the accident.
Recognizing the critical nature of the situation, the police team immediately administered Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to the infant.
Due to the swift and persistent efforts of the police personnel, the baby regained consciousness and started breathing normally.
After reviving the child, the police team safely shifted the infant and family to a hospital for further medical care.

According to the press note, the couple expressed deep gratitude to the Rajendranagar DCP and his team.
