HYDERABAD: HYDRAA has announced that its Prajavani public grievance programme, which is conducted every Monday, will continue as usual from June 22.

In a statement issued on Saturday, HYDRAA said that it would give high priority to monsoon-related issues considering the ongoing rainy season.
The agency urged citizens to submit detailed complaints regarding problems arising during the monsoon, including waterlogging and flood-prone locations in the city.
Monsoon Problems and Waterlogging Complaints to Receive Priority
HYDRAA stated that complaints related to:
- Rainy season problems
- Waterlogged areas
- Flood-prone localities
- Causes of flooding
will be given special attention.
Citizens have been advised to clearly mention the locations affected by waterlogging and provide detailed information on the reasons behind the problem in their complaints.
The agency said it would accord high priority to resolving such issues.
HYDRAA Invites Complaints on Encroachments
HYDRAA also informed citizens that complaints can be submitted through the Prajavani programme regarding:
- Encroachments on flood canals
- Encroachments on lakes
- Encroachments on parks
- Encroachments on government lands
- Encroachments on lands earmarked for public purposes
The agency said residents may report any such encroachments during the Prajavani grievance programme.

HYDRAA requested complainants to explain the causes of flooding in detail while filing complaints.
Citizens have also been asked to mention since when the problem has existed so that appropriate action can be taken.
