Telangana CEO C. Sudarshan Reddy Announces SIR 2026 Drive; BLOs to Visit Every Household from June 25

Telangana CEO C. Sudarshan Reddy announced the launch of SIR 2026 from June 25. BLOs will visit households to distribute and collect Enumeration Forms until July 24 to update voter rolls.

Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sri C. Sudarshan Reddy said that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) programme has been taken up by the Election Commission of India to ensure that the names of all eligible voters are included in the electoral rolls and the names of ineligible persons are removed.

Addressing a media conference held at BRK Bhavan on Saturday regarding the SIR process, the CEO said that all arrangements have been completed for the distribution of Enumeration Forms by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) as part of the SIR exercise, which will begin on 25.06.2026.

SIR 2026 Enumeration Form Distribution from June 25 to July 24

Sri C. Sudarshan Reddy stated that the distribution of Enumeration Forms will continue for one month, from 25.06.2026 to 24.07.2026.

He clarified that there will be no extension of this deadline.

The CEO said that BLOs will visit households and assist voters in filling out the Enumeration Forms. Special training has already been provided to BLOs for this purpose.

BLOs to Visit Every Household at Least Three Times

The Telangana CEO stated that BLOs will visit every household at least three times.

During these visits, they will:

  • Distribute Enumeration Forms to voters
  • Assist voters in filling the forms
  • Collect the completed forms from voters

He emphasized that BLOs will play a key role in the SIR process.

The CEO also stated that Booth Level Agents (BLAs) are being given appropriate training to assist BLOs in helping voters fill the Enumeration Forms within the jurisdiction of their respective polling stations.

Voters Can Also Submit Forms Online

Sri C. Sudarshan Reddy informed that voters can also submit their Enumeration Forms online through the website:

http://voters.eci.gov.in

He added that extensive awareness and publicity activities are being conducted regarding the Special Electoral Roll Revision-2026 programme.

CEO Appeals to Voters to Cooperate with SIR Process

The Telangana CEO appealed to all voters to cooperate with the SIR process when BLOs visit homes for the distribution and collection of Enumeration Forms.

He urged voters to extend full support to the Special Intensive Revision programme being undertaken by the Election Commission of India.
