Telangana Civil Supplies Department Makes eKYC Mandatory for Food Security Card Holders to Continue Ration Benefits

The Telangana Civil Supplies Department has directed all Food Security Card holders to complete mandatory eKYC verification to continue receiving ration and other government benefits.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government’s Civil Supplies Department has issued an important notice directing all Food Security Card (FSC) holders to complete eKYC verification for themselves and every family member listed on their FSC card. The department said the verification is mandatory, and failure to complete it may lead to disruption of ration supplies and other government benefits.

eKYC Mandatory for All Food Security Card Holders

The Civil Supplies Department has instructed all Food Security Card (FSC) holders to complete the eKYC verification process without delay.

The verification must be completed for:

  • The Food Security Card holder.
  • Every family member whose name is included in the FSC card.

The department stated that this is a mandatory process.

Three-Step eKYC Verification Process

The Civil Supplies Department has asked beneficiaries to follow these three simple steps:

  1. Visit the nearest Fair Price Shop (FPS)/Ration Shop.
  2. Carry the Food Security Card (FSC) and a valid identity document such as an Aadhaar Card.
  3. Complete the biometric verification process.

Ration Benefits May Be Affected Without eKYC

The department has warned that if eKYC verification is not completed, beneficiaries may face interruptions in receiving:

  • Ration supplies.
  • Other government welfare benefits linked to the Food Security Card.

Beneficiaries have been advised to complete the verification at the earliest to ensure uninterrupted access to benefits.

The Telangana Civil Supplies Department has made eKYC verification mandatory for all Food Security Card (FSC) holders and every family member listed on the card.
