Supreme Court Gives Relief to HYDRAA in Bathukamma Kunta Case, Asks High Court to Examine Fencing Issue

Hyderabad: The Supreme Court has granted relief to HYDRAA in the Bathukamma Kunta case in Amberpet, Hyderabad, directing the High Court to examine the issues raised by HYDRAA regarding the fencing around the lake. During Friday’s hearing, the Supreme Court also said that the main case and the contempt case against HYDRAA should be heard together, while leaving the High Court to decide all issues related to the dispute.

Supreme Court Directs High Court to Examine HYDRAA’s Stand

In the hearing held on Friday, the Supreme Court directed the High Court to examine the points raised by HYDRAA regarding the fencing erected around Bathukamma Kunta in Amberpet.

The Supreme Court observed that the High Court should consider HYDRAA’s submissions while deciding the matter.

Main Case and Contempt Case to Be Heard Together

The Supreme Court stated that the main Bathukamma Kunta case and the contempt case pending against HYDRAA should be heard together by the High Court.

The apex court said all issues connected with the dispute should be decided comprehensively by the High Court.

Boards and Gates Removed Following High Court Directions

It was noted that, in accordance with the High Court’s earlier directions, the boards and gates at Bathukamma Kunta were removed.

The High Court had earlier directed that no one should claim ownership over Bathukamma Kunta until the final judgment in the case.

High Court to Decide All Issues

The Supreme Court directed that the High Court should decide all issues related to the Bathukamma Kunta case, including the questions concerning the fencing around the lake and the pending contempt proceedings against HYDRAA.

The Supreme Court has provided relief to HYDRAA in the Bathukamma Kunta case in Amberpet, Hyderabad, by directing the High Court to examine HYDRAA’s arguments on the lake fencing.
