According to reports, the lorry was transporting a consignment of paddy from the Mangapet area of Kamanpur mandal to Andhra Pradesh. When the vehicle reached the Peddapalli–Konaram railway crossing, it reportedly got stuck between the tracks due to uneven terrain and the heavy load it was carrying.
After receiving information about the incident, railway officials immediately took precautionary measures. Several trains approaching the route were temporarily halted at different stations to prevent a possible accident, resulting in a brief disruption to railway traffic.
Local residents also gathered at the spot and attempted to push the heavily loaded lorry away from the tracks. However, their efforts were unsuccessful due to the vehicle’s weight.

A large crane was subsequently brought to the location. After considerable effort, the lorry was safely removed from the railway tracks. Railway officials then inspected the track and, after ensuring that it was safe for operations, train services were gradually restored.
Following the incident, local residents reportedly alleged negligence by railway authorities, claiming that repair work at the location had not been carried out properly, resulting in uneven sections of the track area that contributed to the lorry getting stuck.
Residents have urged the railway authorities to undertake permanent repair work at the spot and take necessary preventive measures to avoid similar incidents in the future.
Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. However, timely intervention by railway officials helped avert what could potentially have turned into a major railway accident.
