Charminar MLA Visits Narayana High School After Alleged ABVP Membership Drive Among Students

Hyderabad: A controversy has erupted after alleged membership slips of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) were reportedly distributed among students at Narayana High School and Junior College in Shah Ali Banda, Hyderabad.

Following the incident, Charminar MLA Mir Zulfeqar Ali, accompanied by Mukhtar Ahmed Khan and Irfan Ahmed Khan, visited the institution to review the situation and hold discussions with the school management.

Speaking to the media after the visit, the MLA said the school principal and management informed him that a few individuals allegedly associated with ABVP entered the campus without prior permission and distributed membership slips among students.

According to the school authorities, neither prior intimation nor permission had been sought before carrying out the alleged membership campaign inside the institution.

Mir Zulfeqar Ali said the matter has been referred to the police for investigation. The police have reportedly taken possession of the membership slips and initiated an inquiry to establish the facts and determine whether any rules or procedures were violated.

The school management also assured the visiting delegation that stronger security measures would be implemented to prevent any such incidents in the future and to ensure a safe and disturbance-free academic environment for students.

The investigation is currently underway, and further action will depend on the findings of the police inquiry.
