New Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party Chief Spokesperson Saurav Das has claimed that he and Ashutosh met Union Ministers JP Nadda and Dr Jitendra Singh to present their demands related to the NEET issue. According to Das, the delegation submitted both verbal and written demands, including the resignation or dismissal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, ₹1 crore compensation for families of students who allegedly died by suicide due to the NEET education system, withdrawal of FIRs against peaceful protesters, and a written sovereign guarantee against future targeting. He also claimed the government responded positively to some of the demands and has called them for another meeting tomorrow.

Saurav Das Lists Three “Non-Negotiable” Demands
Addressing the media in New Delhi, Cockroach Janta Party Chief Spokesperson Saurav Das said:
“When Ashutosh and I went there, Union Ministers JP Nadda and Dr Jitendra Singh were also present. We clearly conveyed, both verbally and in writing, our three main demands.”
According to Das, the three non-negotiable demands are:
- Dharmendra Pradhan should either resign or be dismissed from the Union Cabinet.
- Every family whose child allegedly died by suicide due to what he described as the “broken and corrupt NEET education system” should receive ₹1 crore in compensation.
- All FIRs registered against people who were peacefully protesting and allegedly faced police brutality should be withdrawn, and no new FIRs should be filed against anyone.
Demand for Written Sovereign Guarantee
Saurav Das further said the delegation sought a written sovereign guarantee from the government that no one would be targeted in the future.
He added that the delegation also discussed its fourth point, described as a five-point policy demand charter.
