Telangana Transforms MeeSeva Centres into Digital Advertising Hubs with Meta Support to Boost Small Businesses

The Telangana Government and Meta have launched a first-of-its-kind initiative to transform MeeSeva Centres into Digital Advertising Hubs, helping businesses access affordable digital marketing services.

The Government of Telangana, through Electronic Service Delivery (ESD) – MeeSeva, in collaboration with Meta, has launched a first-of-its-kind initiative to transform MeeSeva Centres into Digital Advertising Hubs. The initiative aims to help vendors, shopkeepers, businessmen, startups, MSMEs, and other businesses create affordable digital advertisements while also generating an additional source of income for MeeSeva Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs).

Telangana Launches Digital Advertising Hub Initiative

The Government of Telangana announced that the initiative has been launched through Electronic Service Delivery (ESD) – MeeSeva, with support from Meta, to make professional digital marketing accessible to businesses across the state.

The programme is designed to enable small businesses to grow through affordable digital advertising using Meta platforms.

150 MeeSeva VLEs Trained in Hyderabad

As part of the initiative, more than 150 MeeSeva Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) from the CURE Area were trained in Hyderabad.

The training programme was attended by:

  • Sri T. Ravi Kiran, IFS, Commissioner, ESD (MeeSeva)
  • Representatives from Meta

The training equipped MeeSeva VLEs with practical skills in:

  • Creating digital advertisements
  • Preparing promotional content
  • Identifying target audiences
  • Managing digital advertising campaigns

According to the government, the programme will also create an additional income opportunity for MeeSeva VLEs by introducing digital advertising as a value-added service.

Businesses Can Advertise Through Their Nearest MeeSeva Centre

The initiative enables businesses of every size to visit their nearest MeeSeva Centre and create professional advertisements for promotion on Meta platforms.

The government said the service will be available for:

  • Kirana stores
  • Fruit shops
  • Sweet shops
  • Restaurants
  • Pharmacies
  • Hospitals
  • Schools
  • Salons
  • Mechanics
  • Electricians
  • Plumbers
  • Startups
  • Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)
  • Large enterprises

MeeSeva operators will assist businesses by:

  • Preparing advertisement creatives
  • Selecting the right target audience
  • Publishing advertising campaigns

Officials said the initiative is expected to help businesses improve visibility, attract more customers, and grow at affordable costs.

Commissioner Ravi Kiran Highlights Government’s Vision

Speaking on the occasion, Sri T. Ravi Kiran, IFS, Commissioner, ESD (MeeSeva), said the collaboration reflects the Government of Telangana’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs through technology.

He stated that by combining Meta’s global digital advertising expertise with MeeSeva’s extensive network across Telangana, the initiative makes professional digital marketing accessible even to small and rural businesses that previously had limited access to such services.

Initiative Launched Under IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu’s Leadership

The government said the initiative has been introduced under the leadership of IT & Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu.

According to the press note, the collaboration positions MeeSeva in a new role as a Digital Advertising Hub, expanding its services beyond citizen service delivery.

The initiative aims to:

  • Support entrepreneurship
  • Strengthen Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs)
  • Generate additional livelihood opportunities for MeeSeva VLEs
  • Contribute to the overall growth of Telangana’s digital economy

The Government of Telangana, through ESD-MeeSeva and Meta, has transformed MeeSeva Centres into Digital Advertising Hubs, enabling businesses across the state to access affordable digital marketing services. With over 150 MeeSeva VLEs trained in Hyderabad and support from Commissioner T. Ravi Kiran, IFS, under the leadership of IT & Industries Minister D.
