Hyderabad DEO R.V. Karnan Inspects Polling Stations to Review SIR-2026 Enumeration Form Collection

Hyderabad DEO and GHMC Commissioner Sri R.V. Karnan, IAS, inspected polling stations in Sanath Nagar to review the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 and Enumeration Form digitization.

Hyderabad: District Election Officer (DEO), Hyderabad and GHMC Commissioner Sri R.V. Karnan, IAS, inspected several polling stations in the Sanath Nagar Assembly Constituency to review the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026. During the visit, he reviewed the collection and digitization of Enumeration Forms, interacted with Booth Level Officers (BLOs), election officials and residents, and directed officials to ensure timely collection, accurate digitization, adherence to Election Commission of India (ECI) guidelines, and the preparation of error-free electoral rolls.

DEO Visits Polling Stations in Sanath Nagar

As part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026, Sri R.V. Karnan, IAS, District Election Officer, Hyderabad, and Commissioner, GHMC, inspected the following polling stations in the Sanath Nagar Assembly Constituency:

  • Polling Station No. 139
  • Polling Station No. 146
  • Polling Station No. 160
  • Polling Station No. 161
  • Polling Station No. 162
  • Polling Station No. 164

The inspection covered polling stations located at Shivabagh Colony and Dasaram Basti Huts.

DEO Reviews Enumeration Forms and Digitization Process

During the inspection, the DEO reviewed:

  • Collection of Enumeration Forms
  • Progress of the digitization process

He also interacted with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and election officials.

The DEO instructed officials to:

  • Ensure timely collection of Enumeration Forms.
  • Complete accurate digitization of all forms.
  • Strictly follow Election Commission of India (ECI) guidelines.
  • Resolve issues promptly to facilitate the preparation of error-free electoral rolls.

Residents Encouraged to Participate in SIR-2026

During his visit, Sri R.V. Karnan, IAS, also interacted with local residents.

He encouraged all eligible electors to actively participate in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 by submitting their duly filled Enumeration Forms to their respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs).

He said active public participation would help ensure accurate and inclusive electoral rolls.

Karnan, IAS, inspected Polling Stations Nos. 139, 146, 160, 161, 162, and 164 in Shivabagh Colony and Dasaram Basti Huts under the Sanath Nagar Assembly Constituency to review the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026. He directed officials to ensure timely Enumeration Form collection, accurate digitization, compliance with ECI guidelines, and error-free electoral rolls while urging eligible voters to submit their completed forms to BLOs.
