New Delhi: Mohammad Junaid, who claims he arranged food and other essential facilities for protesters for 35 consecutive days during the ongoing student protest at Jantar Mantar, has alleged that the leadership of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) completely cut off contact with him after the protest ended. He also said he worked only out of humanity, while a separate statement questioned his detention and alleged harassment. No official response has yet been issued by CJP regarding these claims.

Mohammad Junaid Says He Was Ignored After 35 Days of Service
Speaking to the media, Mohammad Junaid said he continuously served students and protesters for 35 days, ensuring food and other essential arrangements during the protest at Jantar Mantar.
However, he alleged that after the movement ended, no leader of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) contacted him or even asked about his well-being.
Emotional Statement by Mohammad Junaid
Expressing his disappointment, Mohammad Junaid said:
“They are no longer in contact with me. If you keep even an animal with you for just 24 hours, you develop an attachment to it. But I stayed with them for 35 days as a human being, feeding them, and today I have been completely ignored.”
He further said that he did not help for any political benefit but only out of a sense of humanity to support students who had come from across the country.

Statement Raises Questions Over Detention and Alleged Harassment
Meanwhile, questions have also been raised regarding Mohammad Junaid’s detention and alleged harassment.
In a statement issued on the matter, it was said that detaining and allegedly harassing Mohammad Junaid, who remained engaged in serving students from across the country, was deeply unfortunate.
The statement said that Junaid had helped students purely on humanitarian grounds and therefore should not be targeted.
Appeal to the Government
The statement further urged the government to stop allegedly harassing volunteers and associates who served the public and students during the movement.
It also appealed that no retaliatory action should be taken against them.
No Official Response from CJP
As of now, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has not issued any official response to the allegations made by Mohammad Junaid.
