IMD Predicts Heavy Rain in Telangana

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a Deep Depression over the northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal and north Odisha coasts moved slowly northwards at a speed of 3 kmph during the past six hours on Monday morning.

The weather system is expected to move north-northwestwards and cross the West Bengal and north Odisha coasts between Balasore and Canning around Monday afternoon.

The IMD said the prevailing weather conditions are likely to trigger heavy rainfall across Telangana during the next three days.
