Yanam: The famous Godavari Pulasa fish has once again attracted attention after a single fish fetched a staggering ₹24,000 at the Yanam market.

According to local traders, the unusually high price was attributed to the fish being a male Pulasa, which is considered particularly valuable and sought after by consumers.

Another Pulasa fish was reportedly sold for ₹7,300 at the market, highlighting the wide variation in prices depending on the fish’s size, type and availability.
