RTC Conductor and Driver Show Honesty, Return Rs. 3 Lakh Forgotten on Bus

A Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) conductor and driver have won appreciation for their honesty after returning Rs. 3 lakh in cash that a passenger had accidentally left behind on a bus.

Hyderabad: A Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) conductor and driver have won appreciation for their honesty after returning Rs. 3 lakh in cash that a passenger had accidentally left behind on a bus.

According to the details, businessman Jahangir boarded the bus along with his wife at Shadnagar. While travelling towards Afzal Gunj, he reportedly forgot a bag containing Rs. 3 lakh in cash on the bus and got down at his destination.

After noticing the unattended bag, conductor Sarita and driver Narsimhulu secured it and decided to wait in case the passenger returned looking for his belongings.

Meanwhile, Jahangir realised that he had left the cash on the bus and rushed back to the bus stand. When he arrived, the conductor and driver verified the details and handed over the entire amount to him.

Jahangir reportedly thanked Sarita and Narsimhulu for their honesty and responsible conduct.

The incident has drawn appreciation for the RTC employees, with their actions highlighting the importance of integrity and humanity in public service.
