Nizamabad Police Inspect Security Arrangements for Ganesh Immersion at Basara Bridge

Nizamabad: Nizamabad Police Commissioner P. Sai Chaitanya, IPS, inspected security arrangements at Basara Bridge ahead of the Ganesh idol immersion procession.
During the inspection, the Commissioner reviewed arrangements aimed at ensuring the safety of devotees and preventing traffic disruptions and untoward incidents during the Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations.
He directed police officials to closely monitor the movement of Ganesh idols and regulate vehicles near the bridge. He also instructed personnel to ensure the safety of devotees and maintain smooth traffic movement throughout the immersion procession.
Sai Chaitanya asked officers and staff to remain alert and ensure that the immersion programme is conducted peacefully. He stressed the need for continuous surveillance around the bridge and directed personnel to provide necessary assistance and cooperation to devotees and organisers participating in the Ganesh processions.

The Commissioner said the Nizamabad Police were taking all necessary measures to ensure that the Ganesh immersion festivities are conducted in a peaceful atmosphere, with public safety as the primary priority.
Nizamabad ACP Prakash, North Rural CI Srinivas, Navipet SI Srikanth, ASI Sudarshan and other police personnel were present during the inspection.
