Hyderabad: An ice-cream manufacturing unit was raided by the Cyberabad Special Operations Team
The team arrested one person from Jeedimetla on Friday, on charges of adulteration.
According to the police, Mohd. Feroz, a resident of Shahpurnagar, was illegally running the ice-cream manufacturing unit in a small scale industrial area since two years with the help of few workers.
Risking the lives of the public, particularly children, they have been adulterating ice-creams of various flavors using harmful substances.
Police seized adulterated ice-cream and other material worth Rs.15 lakh.
