Hyderabad: The delivery agent in Hyderabad who slipped while attempting to save himself from a dog attack at a customer’s house and sustained injuries on Sunday afternoon, is reportedly critical.
The Amazon delivery agent Ilyas had suffered a fall from the third floor of Srinidhi Heights apartments at Panchavati Colony in Hyderabad. He had come to deliver a mattress but was attacked by a pet Doberman.
According to police, the dog started barking at the customer’s door, which was reportedly partly open, when the 30-year-old man went there to deliver a mattress. The pet dog came charging at him as the door was open and Illyas jumped over the parapet wall to save himself from the Doberman.
Ilyas slipped and fell sustaining serious injuries. He was rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment.
A case has been registered under Section 289 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
