During Tuesday’s session at Mexico’s congress, Mexican journalist and UFOlogist Jaime Maussan showcased what he asserted to be ancient “non-human” alien remains, purportedly discovered in 2017 in Cusco, Peru. Maussan, known for previous unverified claims about aliens, stated that radiocarbon dating dated the specimens back up to 1,800 years.
According to Euro News, Maussan emphasized, “These specimens are not part of the evolution of our world… We are not alone in the vast universe, we need to accept this reality.” Maussan was joined by former US Armed Forces pilot Ryan Graves and Harvard University astrophysics professor Avi Loeb during the session.
Graves also corroborated David Grusch’s testimony to the United States Congress, asserting that the country was involved in a clandestine program dealing with unidentified flying objects of “non-human” origin. Loeb recently made controversial claims about discovering materials of interstellar origin in the ocean.
As NPR reports, Maussan and others have made similar assertions in the past, which scientists typically dismissed as either ancient Peruvian mummies or manipulated mummies. Maussan was supported by forensic expert and military doctor Jose de Jesus Zalce Benitez, who claimed the alleged alien bodies possessed large brains, prominent eyes for “stereoscopic vision,” and lacked teeth.
