Authentic Nizami Flavours are now ready to be served in just five minutes

Hyderabad: A new range of ready-to-eat (RTE) products inspired by traditional Nizami cuisine has been launched in the city, offering consumers authentic flavours that can be prepared in just five minutes.

Leading food manufacturing firm Golden Springs Agro Private Limited introduced its “Olden Bite” brand at Ratnadeep Super Market in Banjara Hills. The products are now available in retail outlets across India and through e-commerce platforms.

Developed in collaboration with the National Meat Research Institute, the range combines traditional Hyderabadi recipes with modern food processing technology. In its initial phase, the brand has launched iconic dishes such as Hy-Paya (paya curry), Hy-Marag (mutton soup), and Hy-Haleem (wheat and meat porridge).

The company said the products use advanced retort packaging technology, allowing them to remain shelf-stable for three to six months without refrigeration while preserving taste and nutritional value. It also emphasised that the meals are prepared using natural ingredients, contain no preservatives, and comply with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India quality standards.

“Our goal with Olden Bite is to bring Hyderabad’s traditional flavours to every household. We aim to offer convenience without compromising on authenticity and quality,” company representatives said.

The products are currently available at Ratnadeep stores and select premium outlets, with plans to expand distribution further through online platforms and wider retail networks.

Speaking at the launch, NMRI Director Dr. Barbudde appreciated the initiative, noting that Hyderabad’s strong preference for meat-based dishes such as biryani and paya is likely to drive demand for such products. He added that meat consumption in Telangana, including mutton and fish, has been steadily increasing.

Dr. Barbudde highlighted that these products are prepared using deep and minimal processing techniques, ensuring safety, hygiene, and convenience. He also pointed out that government initiatives from the Food and Animal Husbandry ministries are supporting entrepreneurs in the food processing sector.

The launch event was attended by industry experts, company founders, and retail representatives, marking a significant step in blending traditional cuisine with modern convenience in India’s rapidly growing ready-to-eat food market.
