Ayush Yadav appointed head coach of Team India for Special Olympics World Summer Games 2023

Hyderabad: Ayush Yadav has been appointed/selected as the Head Coach for Team INDIA in Swimming for the Special Olympics World Summer Games 2023 to be held in Berlin, Germany from 17th to 25th June 2023.

Special Olympics Bharat is a National Sports Federation, recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt of India and is accredited by Special OlympicsInc. USA, to conduct sports and development programmes all over India.
It organizes Olympic-type sports opportunities for persons with intellectual disabilities whilst also providing a full range of off the field activities and initiatives that are geared towards supporting and improving the lives of people with intellectual disabilities.
The Special Olympics World Games are the world’s largest inclusive sports event. Thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities compete together in 26 sports. Nine days of exciting and inspiring competitions, by athletes and for athletes.
From 17 to 25 June 2023, the Special Olympics World Games will take place in Berlin – the first time that Germany will host the Games! Berlin, Germany will welcome 7,000 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners from approximately 190 countries to compete in 26 sports.
The athletes will be supported by more than 3,000 coaches and 20,000 volunteers.
