Sharma in a statement said that Congress leaders will not be able to mislead the public by showing them a bunch of lies in the election year.

Hamirpur (HP): The district BJP Thursday warned the Congress party not to try to mislead the people in this election year on various developmental related issues that had no basis.

Ankush Dutt Sharma, the District media in-charge of the BJP said Thursday that the Congress leaders, who were engrossed in factionalism, have tried hard to prove themselves as a big leader on one hand and on other they were making irresponsible statements about the BJP and its leaders.

Sharma in a statement said that Congress leaders will not be able to mislead the public by showing them a bunch of lies in the election year.

He said the Hamirpur Medical College on which the Congress leader, was claiming to be the baby of the Congress party was the creation of the BJP and not the Congress party. He said it was due to personal interest taken by All India BJP chief, JP Nadda, Union Information-cum-Broadcasting Minister, Anural Thakur ,Chief Minister, Jai Ram Thakur and former Chief Minister, Prem Kumar Dhumal that it was going to become a reality during the BJP regime.
He asked the Congress leaders that only by showing the accepted letter repeatedly and claiming that Hamirpur Medical College was a gift of Congress party would it serve any purpose.
Sharma said if their claim was true why the work of Hamirpur Medical College was not started when the Congress government was in the state.
He alleged that the Congress government stopped the work of Hamirpur Medical College for the whole three years, even though the land was not made available for Hamirpur Medical College.
Sharma appealed to the party cadre to fan out in masses and expose the real face of the Congress party and its leaders to the people so that truth may come out.
