Chasing BJP will continue till Center gives assurance of Paddy Procuring: Harish Rao
Harish Rao said, that the TRS would fight for the people for justice if they get injustice; he questioned when the Central government is procuring the entire paddy from the Punjab, why not from the Telangana?
Hyderabad: Minister for Finance, Medical, Health and Family Welfare T. Harish Rao has defended the act of TRS activists of chasing the BJP leaders in the State and warned that it will continue the same, till the Central Government give assurance that it will procure the paddy produced by the farmers within two days.
Speaking to press persons, here today, Harish Rao said, that the TRS would fight for the people for justice if they get injustice; he questioned when the Central government is procuring the entire paddy from the Punjab, why not from the Telangana?
He said as part of the agitation programme to build pressure on the BJP government of the Center, he said that the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced that Mahadharna will be held at Indira Park from 11 am to 2 pm at Indira Park on November 18, demanding the Central government to give assurance of procuring the entire paddy produced by the farmers.
He said, “We are the activists.” We have taken up the movements and made Telangana State”, “We will do our best to protect the interests of the farmers of the state, there is no question of backtracking,” he said.
